Holiday shipping deadlines for the USPS, FedEx, and UPS are here. Many people leave their Christmas shopping until the last minute but need their online orders to arrive before Christmas. This year Black Friday and Cyber Monday are later than usual. This makes the Holiday Shopping Season shorter than usual and customers are likely to make purchases closer to the holidays.
Major shipping carriers have provided shipping deadlines for packages to be delivered before Christmas. Below is an info graphic showing the cut-off dates for delivery by Christmas for USPS, Fedex, and UPS.

At Shiparoo we recommend communicating these deadlines to customers clearly and early. We also recommend adding a few extra days if possible to account for fulfillment and any issues with delivery. Adding expedited shipping options or planning to use different shipping carriers for last minute shipments can also be helpful. Please remember that many of these deadlines are guidelines, not guarantees. During the holiday season the weather and shipping volume can cause delays and lost packages. It is also likely that local ground shipments can be delivered before Christmas, even if they are shipped after the deadlines.
Shiparoo can work with you to determine the best and most cost effective strategy to fulfill and ship your holiday orders to arrive on time. Please contact us with any questions and we can provide feedback to help you develop your holiday shipping strategy.
